Sattar’s motorbike found: Hari Kishore Chakma, Prothom Alo correspondent in Rangamati, reported that the motorbike of Abdus Sattar, whose death sparked violence yesterday, was found in the morning today, Thursday, at College Gate, a Bengali populated area in Baghaichari.

This is a big clue which excludes the possibility of Jumma people being involved in the killing and sheds a whole new light on the matter, said Sama Shanti Chakma, a UPDF leader in Baghaichari. ‘Since there was section 144 imposed since midday yesterday and since Jumma villagers fled their homes, the chance of any Jumma putting the motorbike where it has been found is next to zero.’ he added.

He urged the government to investigate the murder of Satter and bring those responsible to justice.
