A VOCALLY challenged girl has been raped in Kekayachari
area of Sapmara under Manikchari Upazila in Khagrachari district, reports Daily
Purbokone.
However, the daily did not mention the identity of the girl,
nor it said when the incident had taken place.
Quoting Md. Nasim, Officer-in-Charge of Manikchari police
station, the Chittagong-based newspaper daily, in its today’s issue, said the
police was trying to nab the rapist.
“After medical check-up, the victim has been sent to
Khagrachari to testify in the court.” it added.
