A MEMBER of the JSS M N Larma
faction has been seriously injured when members of his rival faction shot at
him in Dighinala, Khagrachari district.
According to sources, at about 8pm,
today, 2 – 3 armed men belonging to Santu Larma faction of the Jana Samhati
Samiti entered Swapan Tripura’s shop near Dighinala Bus station and shot at
him, leaving him seriously injured.
He suffered wounds to his right leg
and has been admitted to Dighinala Health Complex.
The terrorists ran away after the
attack that comes barely 15 days after four activists of the JSS M N Larma
faction were gunned down by Santu group in Longudu.
