THE army-backed Borkha
Party terrorists have kidnapped another Jumma in Manikchari under Khagrachari
district, raising the number of people kidnapped in a week in the area to
three.
According to sources,
Suresh Kumar Chakma, 52, son of late Bijoy Kumar Chakma was abducted on
Wednesday night (14 May) from his home in Bholachola village under Tintehori
Union.
Twelve Borkha
terrorists led by Tapan Chakma raided the village at 7:30pm before taking him
away.
This has put the
number of people kidnapped by Borkha Party in a week in Manikchari at three.
Earlier, Adu Pru Marma
was kidnapped on Sunday and Thoi-iri Marma on Monday. However, both of them
were released after pressure was brought to bear on them by the village elders.
