THE army on Sunday
searched the house of a local UPDF leader in Guimara, Khagrachari, but failed
to find anything incriminating.
According to sources,
a group of 10 – 12 army personnel from Sindukchari zone under Guimara Brigade
carried out the search at 12 noon in the village of Shonkhola-para under
Hapchari Union.
However, Hlasathoai
Marma alias Amar, 54, was not at home at the time.
His wife Naikroi Marma
told chtnews.com, ‘The army men came and looked for my husband.
He was not at home, and the soldiers searched the house.’
The army men copied
all the phone numbers saved in her mobile hand set, she added.
