A FORMER member of the United Peoples’ Democratic Front (UPDF) has
been reportedly abducted by JSS-M. N. Larma faction in Dighinala.
The victim has been identified as Devashish Chakma from Gongaram
Chodogichara village under Sajek Union of Rangamati district.
According to his family sources, Mr Chakma was going to visit his
sister at Headman Para in Dighinala, but as soon as he reached Dighinala
station, the JSS M. N. Larma faction, popularly known as Reformists, kidnapped
him.
He has not been traced ever since.
