A RETIRED government primary school teacher’s
house has been searched in Kaokhali in Rangamati district, according to
sources.
A group of army personnel conducted the search
at Kochukhali in Kaokhali town on Sunday night (November 04), sources said.
‘The soldiers came at 2:30 and woke me up. Then
they searched every room of my house,’ Shanti Kumar Chakma, 68, told chtnews.com.
Nothing incriminating was found during the
search, but the soldiers subjected JSC (Junior School Certificate) examniees,
who are staying with him, to interrogation.
The army men gave no reason for the search, but told Mr. Chakma to
‘inform us if you feel any inconvenience’ and left.
