A group of Bangladesh Army personnel have taken
position at two locations in the Babuchara area of Dighinala upazila,
Khagrachari district, and are making preparations to establish temporary camps
there.
According to local sources, since Sunday morning
(November 9, 2025), more than 90 army personnel have been stationed in two
places — Tarit Kanti Karbari Para of Ward No. 5 in Babuchara Union, and
Manibhadra Karbari Para (Bagan Para) under Ward No. 1 of Dighinala Union.
In Tarit Kanti Karbari Para, soldiers have reportedly
been cutting down trees in the garden of Dipak Kumar Chakma to set up a
temporary army camp at that location.
Similarly, it has been reported that another
temporary camp will be set up in Bagan Para.
Meanwhile, army personnel have been patrolling on foot
along the Sadhanatila–Jarulchhari road.
Due to the increased army presence, local residents
are said to be in a state of anxiety and concern.
