The army searched twelve houses for
"terrorists" in Toimatai Rubber Plantaion Project area and Joy Kumar
Member Para village in Guimara Upazila in the small hours today.
About 75 army personnel in five pick-up trucks from Matiranga
zone carried out the seaerch.
The houses searched in Toimatai Rubber Plantation
belong to Konaram Tripura (35) son of Bhadra Sen Tripura, Aprushi Marma (35)
son of Atang Marma, Chandra Ketu Tripura (45) son of Sunendro Tripura, Monsha
Marma (45) son of Mongtu Marma, Krisna Tripura (55) son of late Karma Chan
Tripura, Jula Tripura (30) son of Horendra Tripura, Hirendra Tripura (60) son
of late Jatan Tripura, Boson Kumar Tripura (50) son of Padma Charon Tripura ,
Karbari of the village Sures Baran Tripura (55)
son of late Nanda Kumar Tripura, Koloigara Tripura (32) son of Debendra
Tripura.
The houses searched in Joy Kumar Member Para
included Digendra Tripura (54), members of ward no.3 Guimara Union and son of Foti Kumar Tripura, Bijoy Tripura (50)
soon of Nanda Kumar Tripur and Arun Dhamai (50) son of late Joy Kumar Tripura.
The soldiers searched every corner of their houses
again and again, turning them upside down.
The searches lasted for two hours from 3-5 am,

Tripura told chtnews.com that the army took away taka 1,500 from under his bed
during the search.
