Members of the Bangladesh Army picked up a hill
youth from the Jorabridge area of Ward 3 in Kabakhali Union under Dighinala
Upazila of Khagrachari.
The detained youth is identified as Nayon Chakma
(19), son of Binduk Kumar Chakma, resident of Boroitoli village, Kabakhali
Union, Ward 3, Dighinala.
According to sources, today—Friday (14 November
2025) around 4 PM—a group of army personnel from the Dighinala Zone arrived in
a vehicle and raided Boroitoli village in the Jorabridge area.
During the operation, the soldiers searched for
members of the UPDF. Not finding any of them, they detained Nayon Chakma and
took him away.
As of the time of writing this report in the
evening, he had not yet been released. It is learned that he is currently being
held at the Dighinala Army Zone.
