Armed members of the JSS (Santu Group) abducted one
person and snatched mobile phones from three others in Bibhas Karbari Para,
Ward No. 6 of Babuchara Union in Dighinala, Khagrachari.
The abducted person has been identified as Samar
Chakma (37), father unknown, a resident of Bibhas Karbari Para, Babuchara
Union, Dighinala, Khagrachari.
According to reports, at around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday
(19 November 2025), an armed group of JSS (Santu) led by commander Chinu Marma
and assistant commander Pavel Chakma raided Bibhas Karbari Para in Ward No. 6
of Babuchara Union.
During the raid, the armed men abducted Samar Chakma
and took him towards Nareichari.
It has also been reported that the armed group
snatched mobile phones from three villagers during the incident.
Sources say that this morning (Thursday), commander
Chinu Marma of the Santu Group called the local ward member and told him to
come to Nareichhari by 12 noon.
