An army patrol in the Sabuj Bagan area of Gorukata in
Ward 6 of Ramgarh Sadar Union under Ramgarh upazila, Khagrachari district, has
caused concern among nearby Jumma villages.
According to local sources, today, Friday (21 November
2025), at approximately 9:30 a.m., 25 army personnel from the Batnatali Camp
arrived and took position in the Sabuj Bagan area.
Locals said the soldiers reached Sabuj Bagan by
avoiding the main road and instead following a route along the Haldachara River
via the side of Borobelchari Para. Upon arrival, they began their patrol
activities.
A source indicated that the soldiers may remain there
for another three days.
Residents fear that the army may conduct search
operations in nearby villages, starting from Hachuk Para adjacent to Sabuj
Bagan, which has caused anxiety among the local population.
