THE
army have prevented Jumma villagers from rebuilding a school in Pilabhanga
village under Patachara Union of Ramgarh Upazila in Khagrachari district. The
soldiers have seized building tools from them.
According
to sources, the villagers of West Pilabhanga
were reconstructing a pre-primary school today when a group of army personnel
led by Lt. Rabbi from Sindukchari zone went there and seized the building
tools.
The
school was first built in 2007. Another report said the villagers had fled when
they saw the army coming.

‘We saw the army coming. We were afraid of them, so we stopped work and ran
away.’
‘Then
the army took our tools away.’ he added.
