A LEADER of the Democratic Youth Front has been shot dead in Matiranga, Khagrachari, sources say.
Two armed men entered the house of Pancha Sen Tripura, 23, in the wee hours today in the village of Shubho Ranjan Headman Para under Beltoli Union and shot him dead.

The assassins are believed to be hired goons of Santu Larma faction of the JSS, the party responsible for the killing of hundreds of UPDF members and supporters since the signing of the CHT accord in 1997.
Pancha Sen Tripura son of Kuksen Tripura was the president of Matiranga unit of the Democratic Youth Forum, a front organization of the UPDF.
