THE ARMY on Monday searched three houses
belonging to Jumma people in Manikchari, Khagrachari.
According to sources, a group of army
personnel from Sindukchari zone raided the village of Monadong Para and
searched the houses.
The searches were carried out in the small
hours of Monday, 17 August and the houses searched belong to Mrs Kamalapati
Chakma (60) wife of late Aila Mohan Chakma, her son Juran Chakma (40) and
neighbor Sumoti Kumar Chakma (55).
