THREE villagers have been kidnapped by an armed gang loyal to Santu Larma in Bandukbhanga in Rangamati district.
According to sources, the gunmen raided the village of Bhurbanya under Bandukbhanga Union at 6am today and picked the three villagers up from their respective homes.
The victims have been identified as Chandra Bahu Chakma, 35, son of Rezom Hulo Chakma, Bhudi Hulo Chakma, 58, son of Illol Chakma and Biro Bahu Chakma, 32, son of Dungol Chakma.
One villager said he heard gunshots a few minutes after the incident.
“We don’t know what happened to them,” he added.
