THE military-backed Borkha Party terrorists shot dead a man in Goeichari village under Sindukchari Union of Guimara Upazila.

According to sources, on Wednesday night, 2 July, a group of armed Borkha men, numbering 7-8, raided the house of Jyoti Bikash Chakma in the village and asked him about the presence of UPDF activists in the area.

When in reply he said that there were no UPDF members in the locality, the terrorists shot him point blank killing him on the spot.

Jyoti Bikash Chakma, 35, son of late Surjo Chakma, lived on a meager income from giving lifts to passengers on his motorbike for a profit.
