THE
Border Guard Bangladesh arrested two Jummas from in front of Logang BGB camp on
Saturday when they were on their way to Panchari Sadar on a motorbike.
The
detained Jummas have been identified as Miton Chakma, 32, son of Birendra
Chakma from Jagapara village under Chengi Union, and Hemanta Chakma, 35, son of
Promod Chandra Chakma from Shanti Tila village in Dhudhukchara under Logang
Union.
The
BGB stopped them when they reached their camp, took them inside and tortured
them severely.
The
following day the BGB placed guns in their hands and then handed them over to
the police after keeping them more than 24 hours in its custody.
A
case has been filed against them for ‘possessing illegal weapons’.
