THE army conducted searches in a house in Bormachari Union under Laxmichari Upazila of Khagrachari district.
A group of army from Bormachari camp carried out the search on Saturday night, 11 May, in the village of Tonuram Para.
The house searched belongs to Lohit Chakma, 36, son of late Nala Raj Chakma.
The search lasted for half an hour, but the troops failed to find any incriminating materials. No reason was given for the search.
