Army operations in Ramgarh have continued since March
1, according to local sources.
Residents reported that at approximately 10:30 a.m. on
Wednesday, a group of soldiers stationed at Gujapara Government Primary School
left the premises by vehicle. The team reportedly traveled through Morakailya
Para and later took position in Achalong Para.
As of the time of reporting, the army personnel were
still present in Achalong Para, local residents confirmed.
In a separate development, sources stated that late
Tuesday night another army patrol moved through Sudurkhil Bazar and conducted
patrol activities in the Kalapani Notun Bazar area.
Local residents said that the continued day-and-night
presence and patrols by the army have led to growing concern among people in
the area.
