THE ARMY
in Dighinala fired gunshots at midnight last night creating panic among the
residents of the Jumma neighbourhoods.
According
to sources, army personnel from Boradom camp and Ketrangchara DP Para camp fired
one hundred rounds of gunshots at the same time, apparently to instill panic
among the Jumma villagers.
The
gunshots came after the army had barred a foot march earlier in the day from
reaching BGB 51 Battalion headquarters near Babuchara.
