Japan-based
international organisations IBC and Risho Kosei-kai on 27 February distributed
relief materials among the arson victims in Bogachari under Naniachar Upazilla
in Rangamati district.
Ven.
Sadhana Jyoti Bhikkhu, Shimul Barua, Ashish Chawdhury, Soumen Barua, Animesh
Barua, Rana Kanti Barua, Subimal Barua, Kochi Barua and Manik Barya were among
those represented the IBC and Risho Kosei-kai.
They
distributed daily necessities, including rice, salt, cooking oil and soaps,
among the victims, who continue to live in open sky 75 days after the attack
that left 57 shops and houses burnt.
The
victims thanked the IBC and Risho Kosei-kai for the relief provided to them.
