House searched by army in Panchari

A GROUP of army personnel from Panchari zone mounting three vehicles raided and searched a house in Nalkaba on Saturday.

The house searched belongs to 75-year old Surendra Chakma.

The soldiers interrogated his daughter-in-Law Seema Chakma and searched the house turning it upside down.

The army said they were looking for fire arms.

They also broke open a trunk, found Tk. 3,000 inside and then took photograph of it.

They stayed there for an hour from 2 p. m. before leaving for their camp.
