THE ARMY on Saturday
searched a house belonging to a Jumma villager in Bongoltoli Union under
Baghaichari Upazila, Rangamati.
According to sources,
a group of army personnel led by Major Selim, commander of Korengatoli army
camp, raided and then searched the house of Bimal Chakma, 36, in the village of B-Block.
They entered the house
without permission before searching every corner of it.
No incriminating
material was found in the search, but the army men took away Bimal Chakma's
national ID card.
The search comes
barely four days after the house of Mihir Kanti Chakma in the same village was
searched by the same army.
