AN ARMED gang loyal to Santu Larma
has kidnapped a villager from Mogpara under Bandukbhanga Union, Rangamati.
According to sources, the
military-backed Santu loyalists raided the village of Mogpara last night (about
10:30pm) and kidnapped Jagadish Chakma, 35, son of Nalini Chakma at gun point.
He remains untraced since then. The
reason for his abduction is not clear.
Santu loyalists often kidnap people
for ransom.
